About the Role :

The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely operate heavy equipment such as loaders and trucks to manufacture compost and other soil amendments.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate heavy equipment to move materials and feed shredders grinders and screens
• Load products onto roll-off containers or walking-floor trailers
• Complete and upload daily production reports
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Keep work areas clean organized and safe
• Follow all safety policies and report hazards right away
• Work closely with drivers operators and team members
• Take part in training to grow skills and improve performance
• Handle other duties as needed to support daily operations

Normal work environment is outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions dirt high levels of noise smells / odors and at times exposure to dangerous and / or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions including PPE.

Hours can range from Monday-Friday 7am-5pm including weekends with some variations per business demands
