(CEC) in Indianapolis is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. What You'll Do :

As a Survey Crew Chief, you'll be a leader and a key part of our survey field team, responsible for :

Leading Field Operations : Directing a field crew on a variety of projects, including topographic, boundary, and ALTA / NSPS land title surveys, as well as construction stakeouts.

• Operating Advanced Equipment : Independently using and troubleshooting modern survey equipment. A strong working knowledge of Trimble survey equipment (e.g., robotic total stations, GPS) and software is required.
• Data Integrity and QA / QC : Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all field data, maintaining detailed field notes, and performing on-site quality control.
• Team and Project Management : Managing project schedules, coordinating with project managers and clients, and training and mentoring junior crew members.
• Problem-Solving : Applying your experience to solve complex field challenges and adapting to changing project conditions.
