The referenced pay range represents the first and last step pay rates for this job, as set forth in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Individual pay will be set in accordance with terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities :
Responsible to assemble, serve, and collect all patient meals, between meal snacks and floor stock. Maintains sanitation of work areas and follows sanitary food practices at all times. Supervision and direction exercised by Patient Service Assistant Manager, Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition, Food and Nutrition Services. Machines and equipment used include Microwave, oven, Refrigerator, Freezer, Coffee maker, Food and Meal carts, Telephone, Pager.
Typical duties include :
1. Assemble and deliver patient trays for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner meals in a timely manner to ensure temperature retention.
2. Pass all nourishments as well as fill water pitchers.
3. Pass all tube feedings and infant formulas.
4. Pass all patient specific menus.
5. Collect and submit all completed patient menu selections.
6. Collect all soiled meal trays from Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner meals.
7. Record all patients ins and Out's.
8. Maintain appropriate levels of floor stock.
9. Responsible for supplying all necessary late trays and substitute selections.
10. Perform all assigned cleaning duties.
11. Assemble trays on the trayline for meal service.
Qualifications : High School diploma with ability to understand, read, write and speak English and with experience in a service environment; demonstrated ability to work independently; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
