Software Tester EDI

This is a new role within the EDI department supporting the CUBS platform. The addition is intended to enhance our internal QA capabilities, with a focus on testing changes to data imports / exports and supporting new feature development across our RCM solutions. The tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, file technicians, and QA oversight.

Work Environment :

• Remote Position : 100% work-from-home
• Core Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM EST (with flexibility based on time zone and team alignment)
• Team Culture : Mix of independent work and team collaboration, especially during QA cycles or cross-functional meetings

Responsibilities :

Validate all programming modifications affecting import / export of data files (837, 835, 277, etc.). Review scope documentation and requirements provided by BSAs and developers.

Execute structured testing of new system features to confirm functionality and adherence to requirements.

Write clear, step-by-step test cases for current and future regression testing. Log and track defects in a shared system, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

Contribute to the design and execution of regression testing across clients, especially after high-risk deployments.

Understand client-specific rules and validation processes that may affect how files are handled or interpreted.

Help document testing checklists and reusable scripts for future test cases. Suggest process improvements where appropriate.
