Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Director :

Developing strategies and setting priorities to improve medication safety.

Leading and monitoring medication safety operational activities and development and oversight of performance improvement strategies related to medication safety throughout the Health System.

Minimum Requirements of the Pharmacy Director :

Successful completion of an Accredited ASHP residency

8 years of health system pharmacist experience

5 years of experience in a manager or director capacity
