Position Information Posting Number F000466 Position Title Adjunct Instructor of Biology - Animal Behavior Department BIOLOGY Division Academic Affairs Faculty Status Per Course Part-time Faculty Supervisor Title Chair, Department of Biology Status Per Course Part-time Faculty Tenure Track No Salary Range $5,520-$5,980 Position Summary The Department of Biology at North Central College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach BIOL 317: Animal Behavior during the Spring 2026 semester. This course includes both a lecture and laboratory component and serves as an advanced elective for Biology majors.

  • Lecture: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:20–10:10 a.m.
  • Laboratory: Tuesday, 8:30–11:30 a.m.
  • Semester Dates: January 5 – April 24, 2026, with a final exam scheduled between April 27–30.

Candidates should hold at least a master’s degree in biology or a closely related discipline and have prior teaching experience.
