[job_card.job_description]Shift : Full-time, onsite in Denver, CO Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, 5-axis, and mill-turn machines. Select tools, speeds / feeds, and machining strategies to maximize quality and efficiency. Read & interpret complex blueprints, 3D models, CAD / CAM files, and GD&T requirements. Collaborate with Engineering on manufacturability, process planning, and design feedback. Perform full machine setups : fixtures, tooling, probing, offsets, and validation. Design or recommend custom fixtures and workholding solutions. Troubleshoot tooling issues, machine control errors, and process deviations. Run CNC mills, lathes, 5-axis, Swiss turning, and mill-turn equipment. Adjust machine controls to maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements. Identify and correct machining issues in real time to prevent scrap and downtime. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pins, bore gauges, surface plates, comparators, CMMs, and other metrology tools. Verify GD&T callouts and ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards. Document inspection results and support NCR / root-cause investigations. Train and mentor junior machinists in setup, measurement, and machining fundamentals. Improve processes related to tooling, cycle time, setups, and overall machine utilization. Recommend new tooling packages, programming strategies, and efficiency upgrades. Follow Titan safety standards, AS9100 procedures, and ITAR regulations. Maintain a clean, organized work area and safe operating conditions. Use proper PPE and follow material-handling protocols. Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs (with reasonable accommodation). Exposure to machining noise, coolant, oils, adhesives, and general shop environments. Safe operation around industrial equipment and rotating machinery. Use of PPE when handling sharp or heavy components. Work with cutting-edge 5-axis, 7-axis, mill-turn, and Swiss CNC equipment. Climate-controlled, FOD-free inspection lab with advanced CMMs. High-mix advanced manufacturing — no repetitive, low-skill production. Position Summary \n
Titan is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist capable of full program-to-production ownership . This is a senior-level role combining CNC programming, complex setup, precision machining, troubleshooting, and in-process inspection. You will work independently across mills, lathes, 5-axis, and multi-axis platforms, while mentoring junior machinists and contributing to continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist who excels in prototype machining, tight-tolerance production, and advanced problem solving.
