Major Responsibilities :

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment to provide optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic surgical techniques in preparation and support during surgical procedures.
  • Set up and maintain the operating room by arranging equipment and supplies effectively.
  • Assist the surgical team as necessary, including functioning as a Second Assistant.
  • Manage and maintain specialty carts and ensure the availability of necessary equipment.
  • Transport patients and assist with patient positioning, ensuring safety and comfort.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.
  • Completion of a recognized program in Surgical Technology.
  • No prior experience required.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Must lift up to 50 lbs., carry up to 40 lbs., and perform other physical tasks as needed.
  • Required to follow safety protocols and wear necessary protective equipment during all procedures.
