Our skilled nursing facility in Clearwater, Florida is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a CNA Transporter & Scheduler. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated caregiver who enjoys working closely with residents while also playing an important role in coordinating their appointments and transportation needs.
We are looking to hire one full-time team member immediately who is organized, reliable, and committed to providing excellent resident care and support.
Position Overview
The CNA Transporter & Scheduler is responsible for coordinating resident appointments, scheduling transportation, and safely transporting residents to and from medical visits. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to provide compassionate care while assisting residents during transport.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule resident medical appointments and transportation
Maintain organized transportation schedules and communicate with nursing staff and departments
Safely transport residents to and from appointments and facility areas
Assist residents with mobility and transfers as needed
Provide basic CNA-level care and support during transport
Ensure residents arrive to appointments safely and on time
Document transportation activities and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and outside providers
Qualifications
Active Florida CNA license
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs
Dependable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
