Your Role in Patient Care
  • Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostics, and crafting personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently based on credentials
  • Providing education and resources to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and chronic illness management
  • Prescribing medications and treatment options within your practice scope
  • Participating in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic care supervision
  • Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated patient care
  • Maintaining detailed and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials Required
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license to practice in Arizona
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
