Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the management of Oracle databases & Exadata Infrastructure (Prod & Non-Prod), performing complex issue investigation, capacity management, automation, scripting, and seeking software development automation opportunities. You will triage database alerts and issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Non-production, and Production Standby databases, Golden Gate, including mentoring of the team and facilitating communications with leadership, clients, and peers. You will also develop standardization, policies, and best practices in-house in alignment with industry standards, cyber requirements, and MAA best practices. This will be accomplished through documentation, knowledge transfers, and automation. Willingness to work additional hours as needed and allowed by local regulations is essential. The primary focus develops, matures, and grows the technical aspect of the program, team, and ensure stability and scalability to the client. Additionally, you will be part of the OHAI roadmap projects, such as migrating the Database to Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Databases.

Minimum Qualifications :

• At least 10+ years of experience as Oracle DBA, Site Reliability Engineer, or Oracle Database Architect.
• 10+ years of experience managing scalable, on-prim and cloud native distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree / master's degree (Information Technology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Software / Electronics / Operational Research / Computer System Engineering).
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts
• Knowledge in PL / SQL, Python, Perl and / or Shell Scripting
• Managing production databases running on Exadata.
