Maintenance Grounds Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Grounds that has prior Maintenance experience, along with excellent time management. The ideal Maintenance Grounds is highly organized, a self starter and always willing to go above and beyond for the team.

Qualifications:

• One year experience in building maintenance or construction
• Professional appearance and demeanor Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools Must be able to operate motorized equipment.
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends based on project requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work
• Maintains working relationship with co-workers, property management and clients
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled
• Ability to use vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpet and blinds
• Power wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows and doors
• Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition
• Maintains shop, equipment rooms and storage areas in a neat, organized and secure condition
• Assists and performs installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, flooring mechanics and other minor building/community repairs Ensuring all property maintains exceptional curb appeal by keeping the grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained Assisting in lawn and landscape maintenance and amenities
• Utilization of company truck for transportation of supplies and material to job sites
• Routinely inspects and communicates to immediate supervisor as applicable
• Other tasks and projects as assigned by management

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects
• Work involves frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases
• Able to work in all weather extremes
• Work involves stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning and reaching; bending at the waist. Indoor/ out-door work environment with exposure to weather extremes

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $16.00 Per Hour
