Description
As an Accounting Data Entry Clerk at Rise Capital Group, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations across multiple upstream oil & gas entities. You'll be responsible for transactional data entry and ensuring vendor invoices, reimbursements, and intercompany transactions are entered accurately, coded correctly, and supported by proper documentation.
You'll be an important part of keeping operations running smoothly-supporting clean audit trails, accurate vendor relationships, and timely processing-while working closely with leadership in a fast-growing, hands-on environment. This position offers the opportunity to grow alongside the company, take on real responsibility, and contribute to building scalable, well-structured accounting processes as we expand.
This role also offers eligibility for performance-based bonuses and the opportunity for increased hours as the company continues to scale.

Enter vendor invoices (Accounts Payable)
Code expenses to correct :
- Well / lease
- Cost type (LOE, IDC, ICC, TDC)
- Accounting period
- Enter the purchaser's revenue statements
- Attach the invoice and revenue backup
- Flag missing or unclear information
QuickBooks (QBO)
Enter vendor bills (A / P only)Allocate expenses by entity and class (offering-level tracking)Enter intercompany bills and reimbursements as instructedAttach supporting documentationAdminister coordination efforts with internal teams for on-time and exact payment processingKeep financial transaction records and documentation up to dateManage timely invoice processing to maintain effective financial operationsDrive process improvements within the accounts payable function for greater efficiencyResolve discrepancies in vendor accounts to uphold and strengthen supplier relationshipsQualifications
Hands-on Wolfepak experience (required)2+ years of upstream oil & gas accounting experience is preferredFamiliarity with LOE, IDC, ICC, and TDCExperience entering A / P transactionsQBO experience with multi-entity environmentsStrong attention to detail and consistencyDemonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and focusPreferred to have a basic bookkeeping certificationAt least 2 years in accounts payable functionsSkilled in utilizing accounting tools and ExcelAcademic background with an associate's in accounting or similar field
