Job Responsibilities:
-Develop blueprints for all data repositories pertaining to function and domain.
-Translates business requirements into long-term data architecture solutions.
-Assists with delegating project and operational activities while maintaining strategic direction.
-Manages technical approach to project components on moderately complex to complex issues.
-Monitors and performs maintenance of the Epic Operational Databases.
-Structures project plan, schedules, and sequence of activities for Epic environment upgrades.
-Establishes and maintains technical standards, departmental procedures, and other technical documentation, as required.
-Provides guidance, direction and assists with organizing the activities of fellow system and database administrators within Epic operational, analytic, and client systems environments.
-Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.
--Working Relationships:
-Leads others in same work performed (does not supervise).
-Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
-Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
-Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
