Commercial Credit Analyst

A top-performing, community-focused bank on Chicago’s North Side is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst. This is a full-time, onsite role offering hands-on experience in underwriting local CRE deals and long-term growth within a stable credit team.

Key Responsibilities :

Underwrite commercial real estate loans (multifamily, office, retail, etc.)

Analyze borrower financials, tax returns, and property cash flow

Prepare detailed credit memos and loan presentations

Support portfolio monitoring and risk reviews

Collaborate with lenders and credit officers to structure deals

Ensure compliance with internal policy and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications :

2–3 years of experience in credit analysis or commercial / small business lending

Experience with financial statement review and cash flow modeling

Strong Excel and analytical skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must be able to work onsite full-time in Chicago (North Side)

Compensation & Benefits :

Base Salary : $60,000–$72,000 depending on experience
