Position Summary:
These general functions will be carried out in keeping with the Goals, Policies and Mission of the YMCA of the East Bay. The Staff Accountant is responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance to the accounting department.
Essential Functions:
The Staff Accountant provides support to the accounting department, with an emphasis on accounts payable processing and support. This position is responsible for assisting with financial record keeping, accounts payable, general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner is vital to the goals of the entire organization.
