Job Summary:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, deploy, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable systems. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software development and IT operations, supporting the tooling, automation, and practices that enable fast, safe delivery of changes to production. You will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning in Microsoft Azure, and enhance monitoring and observability across our environments.

The ideal candidate has experience with modern DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, and containerization. You are comfortable working in cloud environments, scripting to automate repetitive tasks, and troubleshooting production issues. You are a collaborative partner who can translate business and technical requirements into practical solutions, continuously improving deployment processes, system reliability, and overall developer productivity. This position reports to the Manager of development operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

• Deploy, manage, and support applications hosted in Microsoft Azure

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security

• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and production issues

• Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes

• Maintain development, test, and production environments

• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions

• Document systems, configurations, and operational procedures

• Provide level 2 production support during normal business hours

• Participate in on-call rotations as needed

• Promote DevOps best practices across the organization

Skills & Qualifications:

• Early career: 1–2 years of experience; supports CI/CD pipelines, Azure deployments, automation, and monitoring under guidance while building foundational DevOps and cloud engineering skills

• Mid-level: Able to work independently on pipelines and cloud infrastructure

• Senior-level: Capable of designing solutions, mentoring others, and leading DevOps initiatives

• Experience in DevOps, system administration, software development, or a related field

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy or similar CI/CD platforms

• Familiarity with Git version control

• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Azure CLI)

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security concepts

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or other equivalent technologies

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Functions, SQL, and Storage

• Familiarity with networking resources like Azure VWAN, Frontdoor, App Gateway, Virtual Networks, and Network Security Groups is also a plus

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or Application Insights

• Experience designing highly available and scalable systems

• Background in Agile/Scrum environments

• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, or similar)

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in field required
