The Wireless Process Engineer IV will develop and mature intake processes, establish accountability, and stabilize how changes move from planning into production. This position will work cross-functionally with planning, design, project management, and engineering teams to enable engineers to focus on engineering, resulting in better execution and a more predictable production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mature intake processes for a clear and repeatable workflow into engineering.
  • Establish accountability and deployment rhythm, including scheduling and sequencing of production changes.
  • Help stabilize how code upgrades and infrastructure changes move from planning into engineering and deployment.
  • Provide supplemental technical depth to support Level III engineers, tying work together more efficiently.
  • Work cross-functionally with planning, design, PMO, and engineering teams to resolve process gaps.
  • Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering.
  • Integrate and schematically depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, and software.
  • Evaluate new products and perform wireless network problem resolution.
Required Qualifications

Technical Background:

  • Expert-level carrier-grade WiFi experience across WiFi 5, 6, and 7.
  • Proven experience deploying changes into live production networks; lab-only experience is not sufficient.
  • Strong understanding of production deployments, including code upgrades and infrastructure changes.
  • Solid networking fundamentals (OSI Model, TCP/IP) and ability to connect technical work across teams.
  • Proficient knowledge of wireless industry specifications and standards (IEEE, ANSI, variants), Bridging, Switching, and Routing.

Process & Execution:

  • Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes where none exist.
  • Experience defining intake workflows, accountability models, and deployment cadence.
  • Comfortable creating structure without being overly rigid or bureaucratic.

Tools & Ways of Working:

  • Experience using Jira and Chalk or similar workflow and intake tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio.

People Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative personality.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with planning, design, PMO, and engineering.
  • Able to influence without authority and help teams adopt better ways of working.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of wireless network experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP).
  • Wireless industry and vendor-specific training (Cisco, Arris, Ruckus, etc.).
