Our client, a leading technology-driven organization specializing in innovative software solutions, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting backend development and AI integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Location: South Denver, CO (Needs to be onsite during ramp-up, then to 2 days/week onsite)

Pay Range: $70-75/hour, based on experience

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python and Node.js within a microservices architecture.

• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate server-side logic with user-facing applications.

• Develop and optimize non-relational databases such as Postgres, Postgres Vector DB, Cassandra, or MongoDB.

• Leverage AWS services and Kubernetes to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently.

• Work on AI agent projects, including building chatbots and integrating foundational models via OpenAI API.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience in backend development with Python and Node.js, including their ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes for deployment and management.

• Experience working with non-relational databases such as Postgres, Cassandra, or MongoDB.

• Knowledge of AI and GenAI, including working with OpenAI API and building chatbots.
