JOB TITLE: Quality Technician (Server Racks-BOTs/Control Modules/Flex)
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Onsite; 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM)
PAY RANGE: $36 - $46/hr.
DURATION: 6 Months TOP 3 SKILLS: - High school diploma or equivalent with 8-10 years of QA experience in a serialized production environment for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, DVM, oscilloscopes) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) plus MS Office/Google Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485).
bout the Role: s part of the Advanced Hardware Manufacturing Operations team, you will be a vital part of the Manufacturing organization responsible for building, testing, and troubleshooting complex software-controlled electro-mechanical sensing elements critical to Robo Taxi. In this technical role, you will be responsible for performing quality control activities for the Server Racks (BOTs)/Electronic Modules/Flex production line, ensuring compliance with standards and internal procedures. This role involves performing inspections, debugging issues, and implementing improvements.
In this role, you will: - Carry out IQC, IPQC, and OQC tasks across a multitude of parts, ranging from rack server assemblies, PCBAs, and other complex electro-mechanical power and control sub-assembly modules.
- Basic knowledge of the use of calipers, micrometers, height gauges, DVM, oscilloscopes, and other measuring tools.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into a quality database.
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper maintenance of quality records in compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure correct quality movement of products (physical and virtual) throughout the entire serialized manufacturing process.
- ssist engineers with proper MRB disposition activities
- Identify and initiate non-conformances, participate in the root cause analysis, and assign them to the correct individuals.
- Perform Calibration and maintain test/measurement equipment to ISO requirements as required
- Submit PPAP documentation for approval
- Suggest improvements to quality inspection processes and procedures.
- Comply with safety regulations and the safety program
- Perform other tasks as required
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- t least 8 to 10 years of progressive QA experience in a fully or semi-automated serialized production environment of complex electro-mechanical assemblies (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, Robotic industry).
- Proficiency in using quality control tools, SAP/Oracle ERP software, and MS Office/Google Suite.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication. skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to handle tight deadlines and manage competing demands effectively.
Bonus Qualifications: - Experience in complex high-end computer/rack assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 standards
