We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Carlsbad, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting accounting and treasury functions, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting practices and the ability to manage financial operations across global bank accounts.
Responsibilities :
- Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Manage cash forecasting processes for global bank accounts, providing timely and accurate projections.
- Oversee bank vendor relationships and maintain effective communication to address operational needs.
- Handle payroll-related financial tasks, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize Excel macros and automation tools to streamline financial workflows.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting and treasury operations.
- Investigate and address variances in financial data, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
- Proficiency in month-end close procedures and journal entry preparation.
- Strong skills in cash reconciliations and bank account management.
- Knowledge of cash forecasting techniques and tools.
- Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and automation capabilities.
- Familiarity with data mining techniques for financial insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
