Summary :
A Parts Coordinator manages the ordering tracking and distribution of spare parts for repairs or production ensuring technicians and customers have the correct components while maintaining accurate inventory managing suppliers processing purchase orders handling returns and sometimes assisting customers with quotes and order updates requiring strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management : Monitoring stock levels conducting physical counts organizing stockrooms and ensuring proper storage.
- Procurement : Ordering parts managing backorders and coordinating with vendors for timely deliveries.
- Order Fulfillment : Pulling packing and distributing parts to technicians or customers.
- Documentation : Tracking all parts movement updating management systems and processing invoices.
- Supplier Relations : Communicating with vendors managing returns of incorrect or damaged parts and resolving billing issues.
- Customer Service : Providing price quotes answering inquiries and updating clients on order status.
- Warranty Management : Seeks reimbursement for labor and parts on all in-warranty products.
Required Skills Qualifications & Additional Job Details
