Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opening Rockland County, NY A federally qualified health center offering comprehensive care in Rockland and Sullivan Counties. Join our Acute Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a high-volume urgent care setting
Multiple providers and nurses per shift
On-site lab and X-ray with radiologist over-read
Access to multiple on-site specialties for consultation
No nightly call
Flexible schedule : daytime, one evening per week, Fridays, and weekends

Responsibilities

Conduct physical exams, assessments, and treatment of acute and sub-acute conditions

Order and interpret imaging and laboratory testing

Complete accurate and timely documentation

Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, and splinting (preferred but not required)

Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary care team

$3,500 sign-on bonus for full-time NP / PA

Competitive salary range : $117,000 $145,000 annually

No billing or overhead responsibility

Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program

Active, unrestricted NYS license and certification

Active NY DEA registration

BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of independent clinical experience
