Days: Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat
Shift: 5x8 Days (3:00pm-11:30pm), Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, 40 hrs./week
Pay Rate: $37-$41/hr. on W2.

Requirements:
- Will need to float to other facilities as needed.
- Every other weekend availability.
- Min 1-year correctional experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Dress wounds and provide wound care.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Collect samples for testing.
• Provide basic first aid and emergency care.
• Assess inmate health needs and develop care plans.
• Educate inmates on health-related topics.
• Monitor inmate health status and report any concerns.
• Work closely with correctional officers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for inmates and staff.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of inmate care.
• Document all nursing interventions and assessments.
