Water Treatment Technician Full-Time

Perform service repairs and water testing for residential and commercial systems. This full-time field role offers hands-on technical work and consistent weekday hours.

What Youll Do

  • Diagnose repair and maintain water treatment systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system testing
  • Complete basic plumbing repairs (PVC copper galvanized)
  • Conduct flow rate testing and basic electrical troubleshooting (24V / 110V)
  • Service and troubleshoot RO systems Britton Method systems and Triple-O systems
  • Calibrate flow meters feed pumps and controllers
  • Repack filtration media and identify system issues
  • Read and interpret technical manuals
  • Explain system operation and repair needs to customers

Water Sampling & Testing

  • Collect and analyze water samples in the field and shop
  • Test for hardness and pH; calculate proper brine dosage
  • Collect samples for methane VOCs organics microbiological testing and minerals
  • Identify colloidal iron and calculate polymer dosing

    • Customer & Job Site Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Maintain clean safe and organized job sites
  • Leave accurate service and maintenance reports
  • Collect COD payments when required

    • Additional Duties

  • Maintain and fuel service vehicles
  • Attend required meetings and training

    • Location & Schedule

  • Dispatched from Sebastopol office
  • Field work on customer property; occasional overnight travel
  • Full-time non-exempt
  • MondayFriday 7 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m.
  • Meal and rest breaks provided per labor law
