What You'll Do
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs holistically and design individualized therapy programs to help them meet their daily living goals
  • Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough, well-rounded patient care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy practices to facilitate continuous improvement beyond the clinical setting
  • Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Continuously evaluate clinical outcomes and adjust interventions to ensure each patient remains on the path to success
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Advancement through continuing education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
