The Opportunity - Director, Associate General Counsel - Digital Media Strategic Partnerships

Adobe is in search of an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Adobe Global Partner Legal team as Director. What You'll Do

Report to the Senior Director, Adobe Global Partner Legal team.

Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of agreements, including technology licenses, content acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and vendor agreements.

Evaluate and successfully implement continuous improvements for standard terms, templates, and legal processes.

Cultivate knowledge in our Digital Media solutions to offer support and counsel for the Creative Cloud and Document Cloud family of products, including Firefly and generative AI solutions through inbound and outbound strategic partnerships.

Keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and legal landscape.

Build positive relationships and advise multiple levels of management on legal issues.

What You Need to Succeed

J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of at least one state bar.

A minimum of 10-12+ years of relevant legal experience, particularly with complex technology agreements, and some in-house experience preferred.

Proven drafting skills and experience leading complex, high-impact deal negotiations for various agreements, with extensive experience in software technology agreements.

Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to frame complex legal issues succinctly and communicate with all levels of the organization.

Dedication to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal and business advice.

Proven creative problem-solving capabilities, good business instincts and the ability to apply common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice.

Flexibility to work with colleagues, business partners / clients and others in time zones other than where the position is based.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $196,700 – $354,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
