Looking to put your leadership abilities to good use? TeamHealth is seeking a medical director for our existing OB / GYN hospitalist program at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN!

The TeamHealth OB / GYN hospitalist model provides a work / life balance other practice models just cannot match. To attract the best, we make sure clinicians have manageable caseloads and the right resources and team members by their sides to ensure patients receive the best possible care. Schedule to consist of providing weeknight, weekend and holiday coverage! You will be collaborating with the community physicians in the care of their patients on labor and delivery and the main emergency department.

TeamHealth's medical directors collaborate and support the clinical team, work alongside the hospital leadership and medical staff while serving as part of the clinical team.

As a member of the TeamHealth OB / GYN leadership team, the facility medical director reports to the national medical director (NMD) or associate regional medical director (AMD), and collaborates with the NMD / AMD, senior vice president of operations and director of operations to maintain close collaboration among the clinical team and hospital leadership, and drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization.

As a clinician led organization, TeamHealth offers flexibility in scheduling, no billing or coding responsibilities and dedicated educational programs for our OB / GYN hospitalists.
