Assoc Mgr Portfolio Operations
This role requires you to reside in Hershey, PA. Responsible for managing commercial governance for product development projects and advancing portfolio insights and analytics to support prioritization and decision making in both CMG and Salty Snacks businesses.
Role Responsibilities :
- Leads commercial governance meetings and process including confirming agendas, attendees, material readiness, and running meetings (including prioritizing topics, time management and follow-ups)
- Evaluates projects, working with business leaders and acting project leaders, to ensure project readiness for gate reviews
- Acts as subject matter expert and provides stage-gate process guidance within commercial governance
- Advises on process needs and helps to design and implement process improvements
- Supports continuous improvement of Accolade project management tool
- Creates and maintains decision-making analysis and process metrics for governance meetings
- Owns data gathering process; collaborate with other data owners to connect into enterprise data sources
- Develops dashboards and reporting for CMG and Salty Snacks project portfolio
- Generates insights on portfolio performance, trends, risks, areas for improvement, etc.
- Conducts ad hoc analysis; develops hypothesis, aggregates findings, and determines recommendations
- Leads data accuracy for project portfolio data in Accolade
- Maintains single source of truth information for all projects
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business or technical area required2-3+ years work experience in an analytical and / or strategic role involving business processesStrong data & analytics skills. Able to collect, transform, and display data using various tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.)Able to communicate with PowerPointAttention to detail but capable of broad strategic overviewStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsStrong ability to influence and persuade decision making at higher levelsCapable of gaining trust and buy in from peers and leaders.
