This position would ideally be based in our Meridian, Idaho office which offers a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.  We'd be open to a fully remote candidate but they must be located within the BNP territory (states :   OR, WA, ID, UT or MT).

Responsibilities

As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will directly impact the company’s growth and profitability goals within an assigned territory and book of business. You will underwrite commercial property and casualty accounts by determining risk acceptability and pricing in accordance with established underwriting guidelines and within established authority level. You'll also maintain autonomy in work and management of book of business in a fast-paced environment, as well as serve as the point of contact for assigned agencies and be responsible for the agency relationship.
