Senior Attorney - Construction
Established (25+) Years Premier Firm Seeking Senior Construction Attorney in Framingham, MA
An established mid-sized civil defense firm based in the Framingham, MA area with over 25 years in practice is seeking a Senior Construction Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join their team in a flexible hybrid arrangement (2-3 days in-office) . This Attorney will have experience with construction law and litigation , representing clients in complex disputes and advising on risk management and contract negotiation.
Offer :
Salary range : $180,000-$225,000 , contingent on experience

Qualifications :
The candidate must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and be an active member of the Massachusetts Bar. The candidate should have a minimum of seven years of experience in construction law and litigation.
A proven track record in handling complex construction disputes and delivering successful outcomes is required. Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills are essential.
The candidate must be able to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
The Attorney will lead and manage complex construction litigation matters, including disputes involving payment, defective work, changes in scope, termination, delay, mechanic's liens, and bonds.
The Attorney will represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, and mediation.
The Attorney will advise clients on risk management and contract negotiation for construction and design projects.
The Attorney will draft and negotiate construction and design professional contracts for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
The Attorney will collaborate with experienced trial lawyers and contribute to thought leadership through industry involvement and publications.
