Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Service Technician to support the testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of manufactured electronic test equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of precision instruments used in a wide range of technical applications. Key Responsibilities Perform functional testing, calibration, troubleshooting, assembly, and disassembly of electronic instrumentation Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure equipment meets established specifications and performance standards Perform adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs; escalate complex repairs to senior technicians as needed Apply technical expertise to support internal teams and external customers Maintain detailed service documentation and comply with quality and safety standards Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including field service and customer representatives Adhere to established production processes and meet team production goals Promote high workmanship standards, ESD compliance, connector care, and service note adherence Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to innovative solutions Use Keysight resources responsibly and efficiently; multitask effectively Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in calibration and repair of electronic test equipment Hands-on experience with electronic testing, calibration, and repair Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build professional relationships Works effectively on repetitive service assignments with clearly defined objectives Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics Preferred Qualifications Experience with Keysight test and measurement equipment Experience working with high voltage and current instruments PMEL experience strongly desired Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, PC-Based, METCAL, TME, etc.) Strong PC skills (MS Windows & Office) Technical degree, certification, specialized training, or relevant military experience Additional Expectations Consistently contributes to team and service center delivery goals Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments Communicates effectively with internal and external customers (verbal and written) Escalates issues appropriately when necessary Supports quality initiatives to minimize re-repair and ensure high-quality service delivery
