Summary

The Lead Warehouse Technician is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations supporting ILG's International Tile & Stone (I.T.S.) Division, ensuring the accurate receipt, staging, storage, and distribution of interior finishing materials such as tile, stone, mosaics, waterproof flooring, carpet, wall veneers, and installation products. This role provides hands-on leadership, guiding warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all warehouse activities meet company safety, quality, and operational standards. The Lead Warehouse Technician acts as a key support to the Warehouse Manager and assumes leadership responsibilities in their absence.

Essential Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Oversight

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and personnel, ensuring workflow efficiency and task accuracy.
• Lead warehouse staff in the absence of the Warehouse Manager, maintaining productivity and adherence to operational priorities.
• Assign and distribute picking tickets across warehouse teams to organize workflow and ensure timely completion.
• Create and print pallet tags for dispatch orders and verify outbound paperwork against physical counts and load sheets.
• Audit outbound orders for completeness and accuracy prior to loading or shipment.
• Load, unload, and stage materials including tile, stone, mosaics, wall veneers, carpet, and waterproof flooring.
• Handle and protect fragile or high-value materials using appropriate bracing, strapping, and padding techniques.
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
