Project Scheduler & Controller

Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler & Controller to support large-scale Utility Projects (Transmission & Distribution / Substation). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules using Primavera P6 and / or MS Project Planner , ensuring timely execution, cost control, and effective risk management.

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project Planner
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to track progress and resolve scheduling conflicts
• Monitor project performance and identify schedule risks with mitigation strategies
• Prepare and analyze critical path schedules and resource allocation plans
• Perform cost control activities including budget tracking, forecasting, and expenditure analysis
• Conduct Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and present progress reports to leadership
• Generate weekly / monthly reports including variance analysis and performance trends
• Assess schedule impacts related to scope changes or delays
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards
• Support planning, scheduling, and reporting to drive on-time project delivery
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in project scheduling & control (Oil & Gas / Utility preferred)
• Strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 and / or MS Project Planner
• Experience with EPC projects or Utility (T&D / Substation) environments preferred
