Position Summary :

The Dias Lab is hiring a data analyst to design short peptides that can target cancer cells. The candidate is expected to use computational tools to design different peptides and test predictions in a wet lab.

Essential Functions :

• The data analyst will simulate the interaction of peptides with cancer cells in silico. The database created from simulations will be used to train machine learning algorithms to make predictions of new peptides that can target cancer cells.

Salary Information :

In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate / range for this position is $25.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
