Grounds Worker

Assist in maintaining school grounds and athletic playing fields.

Minimum requirements:

• Basic math skills.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Additional requirements after hire:

• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 50 lb lift test.
• Valid Arizona Drivers license - MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

• Classification: Blue Collar
• FTE: 0.5 4 hours per day
• Work Calendar: 12 month
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
• Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
