Security Guard - Government Site - Flex

As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a supportive team environment that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate : $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees with access and general inquiries while following established protocols.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to support incident response.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
