Atkore currently has openings for Machine Operator / Coilers in our New Bedford, MA facility. We currently have openings on 3rd Shift (Midnight - 8am), Monday through Friday (occasional overtime may be required including weekends) however training may take place on any shift.

Atkore currently has openings for Machine Operator / Coilers in our New Bedford, MA facility. All openings will be 3rd Shift (Midnight - 8am), Monday through Friday (occasional overtime may be required including weekends) however training may take place on any shift.

Responsibilities include set up, operation, inspection and adjustment of large and / or heavy coiling equipment. This role requires lifting up to 70 lbs as well as pushing / pulling of coiling materials, completion of necessary paperwork and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Job Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noises, smells and / or extreme temperatures at times.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, sit and stand without assistance.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic required .
• Must have the ability to understand, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to follow directions and complete work in a safe and efficient manner while producing a quality product.
