Carpenter

We are seeking multiple skilled Carpenters to perform wood and metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installation, and drywall backing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading blueprints and accurately laying out framing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices.
• Perform wood and metal stud framing.
• Install acoustic ceilings and drywall backing.
• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate framing system layouts.
• Use hand and power tools proficiently.
• Understand and adhere to construction safety standards.
• Work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment

You will work in commercial environments with shifts from 6AM - 2 : 30PM or 7AM - 3 : 30PM, depending on the job site. The dress code requires wearing hard hats, high-visibility vests, and work boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Aurora, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
