Quality Manager Assistant

The Quality Manager Assistant supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS) with an emphasis on AS9100 compliance. This position plays a key communication and coordination role as the liaison between the Quality Manager and the Quality Lab, ensuring clear workflow, proper documentation, and consistent quality adherence. The Quality Manager Assistant helps drive quality initiatives, supports audit-related activities, and ensures that lab processes align with organizational quality requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in maintaining QMS documentation, procedures, and records in accordance with AS9100 standards.
• Help track corrective actions, preventive actions, non-conformances, and quality performance during internal audits by preparing documentation, collecting evidence, and coordinating with lab personnel.
• Assist with preparing reports, schedules, and updates for management review meetings.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
