Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Brawley, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately documented.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations, including bank and ledger accounts, to maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee the month-end close process, including the preparation of necessary reports and adjustments.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and sales tax reports.
• Monitor and maintain the general ledger to ensure it remains up-to-date and balanced.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards during all financial activities.
• Provide support during audits by preparing required documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
