We currently have a need for an Geologist / Environmental Scientist in our Brooklyn, NY Office.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of ASTM-compliant Phase I / II ESAs
• Site Investigations
• Drilling / excavating contractor oversight, soil / groundwater / soil vapor sample collection
• Soil logging / geologic formation
• Soil sampling at various NYC agency sites
• Use of field equipment (PID meters, Horibas / water pumps etc.)
• Oversight of GW monitoring well installations
• Construction activities oversight including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations / closures, etc.
• CAMP implementation and work zone monitoring
• Field activity report writing
• Assist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents
• 8 hour shift
