Senior Java Full Stack developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using a diverse array of modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based backend development, cloud services, and React frontend implementation. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Brentwood or Nashville, TN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of overall IT experience.

Strong proficiency in React JS, Node JS, Next JS, Java, and Spring Boot microservices.

Expertise in web application frameworks and RESTful API design.

Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment processes.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities for client-facing interactions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working onsite at client locations in a technical leadership role.

Familiarity with TypeScript, GraphQL, or other modern web technologies.

Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
