The Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering will be responsible for leading process improvements that deliver world class quality & efficiency producing Engines Gensets and Power Modules
What you will do :
Managing the planning documentation implementation support and maintenance of manufacturing processes procedures machinery and tooling to improve efficiency cost effectiveness quality and safety.Researching process performance data to identify and implement process changes that improve yield runtime quality safety and cost-effectiveness.Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers process design and support personnel.Providing on-going support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshoots technically challenging production problems.Degree Requirement
Technical / Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required.Skills you must have :
Operational Functions : Extensive knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.Organizational Leadership : Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting embracing and achieving objectives.Quality Management : Extensive knowledge of quality management methods tools and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.Influencing Through Expertise : Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to use these to deepen own expertise and impact or challenge decisions within and outside own organization.
Continuous Transformation : Knowledge of evolving the business to remain competitive; ability to understand adapt oneself to respond to and proactively seek changes and innovation in the business environment to improve the competitive advantage of an organization.Collaborating : Extensive knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.Manufacturing Safety : Extensive knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers environment and site.Manufacturing Standards Procedures and Policies : Extensive knowledge of organizational standards procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan guide and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.Capacity Planning & Management - MFG : Extensive knowledge of tools approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.Project Management : Extensive knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.Top Candidates will have :
