Surveyor II

Location : Salt Lake City, UT (100% Onsite)

Employment Type : Direct Hire

Salary Range : $57,200 – $91,400 per year

About the Role

Enbridge is seeking a Surveyor II to support pipeline construction and design projects. This role performs intermediate-level surveying tasks—collecting survey data, performing field staking, producing CAD drawings, and ensuring all work meets safety and technical standards.

This position is safety sensitive and requires background checks, driving record verification, and company-sponsored medical / drug testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate survey equipment
  • Safely drive company vehicle to job sites
  • Collect as-constructed survey data for pipeline construction
  • Set construction stakes, benchmarks, and survey control points
  • Conduct topographic surveys for pipeline planning and design
  • Assist in site calibrations and boundary data collection
  • Prepare stakeout points / plans using AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Produce CAD drawings from survey data following company standards
  • Coordinate project schedules and communicate with internal / external teams
  • Keep accurate daily records and documentation of survey activities
  • Follow all Enbridge safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Experience & Technical Skills :

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Surveyor I or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying concepts and field practices
  • Proficient in :

    • AutoCAD Civil3D

  • Trimble GNSS and conventional survey equipment
  • Trimble Business Center
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to obtain required Operator Qualifications (OQ)
  • Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Exposure to SUE , remote sensing, or aerial photogrammetry is a plus

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift / carry up to 40 lbs
  • Bending, climbing, kneeling, crawling, walking, and working outdoors
  • Ability to see screens, read fine print, and distinguish colors
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions
