A few key responsibilities include :

• Providing direct nursing services to all residents within the assigned neighborhood or program.
• Conducting hands-on training for newly hired team members and offering skill retraining as needed.
• Overseeing and accurately transcribing physician orders in the electronic record system and treatment plan, administering medications, and providing treatments as per orders.
• Leading and supervising both clinical and non-clinical team members while ensuring a high standard of care.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care effectively.
• Documenting resident conditions and nursing needs promptly and accurately, reporting significant observations and reactions in a timely manner.
• Executing necessary treatments while monitoring and documenting resident responses to medications and therapies.
• Coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Planning resident admissions as directed by the physician, performing assessments, confirming orders, and liaising with pharmacy and laboratory as required.
• Providing thorough handoff reports to incoming shifts to guarantee seamless continuity of care for residents.
