Immediate opening for a QA Technician in San Diego, CA who possesses : -2+ years' experience performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of electromechanical assemblies and cable and wire harness assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and 620-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints-Familiarity with Precision measurement techniques and inspection tools (calipers, pin gauges, indicators, etc) Email resumes to tness@ : The Quality Assurance Technician performs in-process and final inspections of cables, harnesses, printed wiring assemblies (PWAs), electro-mechanical assemblies, and integrated hardware systems to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and customer requirements. This role works under the direction of the Quality Assurance Lead and supports the build and integration teams by verifying that all materials and assemblies are acceptable for use in production. The QA Technician plays a key role in ensuring product reliability, configuration integrity, and documentation accuracy. The selected candidate will be responsible for :
Inspection & Verification-Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of electromechanical assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610.-Inspect cable and wire harness assemblies in accordance with IPC / WHMA-A-620.-Verify incoming materials and components meet purchase order, drawing, and specification requirements before release to stock.-Inspect in-process assemblies during production to ensure workmanship and configuration compliance.-Perform final acceptance inspections prior to shipment or system-level integration.
Documentation & Recordkeeping-Accurately document inspection results, including acceptance, rejection, and non-conformance details.-Maintain traceability and configuration control records in accordance with company quality procedures.-Assist in completing nonconformance reports (NCRs) and re-inspection documentation as required.-Support document review to ensure Work Instructions, drawings, and inspection criteria are & Support-Communicate defects, trends, and quality concerns to the QA Lead and Production Supervisors.-Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and logistics personnel to resolve product or documentation issues.-Provide feedback to improve assembly methods, quality standards, and inspection practices. The selected candidate will also possess : -Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).-Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and recordkeeping discipline.-Must be a ().
