Senior Systems Platform Developer
Serve as Technical Lead on assigned projects, applying advanced-level experience developing applications using PHP, MySQL, ZendFramework, hosted cloud-based (AWS) architecture (S3, containerization, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.), as well as deep knowledge in use of load-balanced, auto-scaling and fault-tolerant platforms, as well as in transferring files to and from the public cloud (AWS). Engage in hands-on evaluations of new technologies, processes, and strategies, including design patterns, software platforms, programming languages, and continuous integration. Develop prototypes, pilots, or first versions of software components. Mentor and train other developers on new applications and/or components to ensure that integration, testing, and release occurs in an accurate and timely fashion. Participate in the development of unit tests and overall test strategy for new applications and/or components. Provide peer code reviews when necessary. Work closely with other Architects and Lead Engineers to develop and track metrics that enhance performance and supportability of software components.Senior Systems Platform Developer • Arlington, TX
