Position Description & Qualifications

What We Offer :

  • The pay rate for this position is $36.05 / hour.

As a valued member of our Air Traffic Control team, you will :

  • Respond to radio communication from incoming and outgoing aircraft.
  • Provide landing and takeoff instructions to pilots.
  • Deliver crucial information including runway usage, wind conditions, visibility, and taxi instructions.
  • Issue air traffic clearances.
  • Conduct critical weather observations and share timely updates with pilots and other ATC facilities.
  • Manage the transfer of aircraft control between facilities.
  • Operate vital equipment such as radios, radar, weather tools, and airport lighting systems.
  • Coordinate with Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters and necessary first responders during emergencies.
  • Assist and instruct airport ground personnel as needed.
  • Maintain records of daily operations.
  • Occasionally serve as a trainer for new personnel.

    • Requirements to Join Our Team :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess an FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • Hold a Control Tower Operator (CTO) rating or a Tower Rating Credential with six months of relevant experience.
  • Eligible to work for Serco under Federal Immigration Laws.
  • Complete verification of education and past employment references.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Obtain FAA Security clearance (both interim and final).
  • Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the U.S.
