Job Description : Lucasfilm Animation Ltd., renowned for creating the Emmy award-winning series "Star Wars : The Clone Wars" and other successful animation series like "Star Wars Rebels," "Star Wars Resistance," and "Star Wars : The Bad Batch," is seeking an Animation Production Coordinator who embodies the innovative spirit, creative talent, and collaborative mindset that defines Lucasfilm Ltd.
This is a hybrid role, allowing for both onsite work in our San Francisco office and occasional remote work. The candidate must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Animation Production Coordinator will offer administrative support to the VP of Animation Production, facilitating day-to-day tasks across pre-production, shot production, and post-production for multiple animated projects.
What You'll Do :
- Assist the VP, Animation Production by managing calendars, adjusting meetings to prioritize tasks, and organizing travel arrangements for domestic and international trips.
- Prepare, submit, and track expense reports for the VP and other senior staff as required.
- Coordinate logistics for conferences and speaker engagements, including scheduling, travel arrangements for guests, booking conference rooms, and catering.
- Support the production team by maintaining and updating internal tracking reports and facilitating distribution of project milestones across departments.
- Package and ship crew gear or other materials as necessary.
- Manage inventory and distribution of office supplies efficiently.
- Assist with planning and coordinating various events, including completing production-related errands as required.
- Drive special projects as needed or requested.
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor's Degree in film, art, theatre, communications, or a related field is preferred.A minimum of 2 years of experience, especially in Animation Production and / or executive support roles.A proactive and positive approach to assisting team members.Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities.High level of initiative, flexibility, and respect for confidentiality.Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in GSuite, Word, Excel; experience with project management software is a plus.Commitment to professionalism in conflict resolution and handling challenging situations.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with a knack for processing information accurately.A valid CA driver's license and a reliable vehicle in good working order.The hiring range for this position in San Francisco is $64,600 - $83,400 per year. Pay will reflect internal equity and may vary based on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to salary, a bonus or long-term incentive may be included in the compensation package, along with comprehensive medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the position.
